Meet Elaine

My love of photography started a long time ago when I was a little girl and had my first instamatic camera. I would pose my Barbie dolls on wooden logs or run after the chickens trying to get that perfect shot. Little did I know that all that fun and experimenting of photography would lead me to have my own business today.

Over the years, my subjects changed from landscapes to frogs and even snails with macro, weddings and corporate...and then I had two beautiful children. I simply couldn't stop taking photos of them - I literally have thousands of images of them and love each and every one, however it's those styled photos, the studio shots where I play and have fun with my children to bring out their personality that I have framed on my walls.

And so my love for being a newborn photographer was 'born'. Being able to capture those fleeting moments of a newborn, the milestones as they grow and the love of a family together is what I want to give to others - to cherish for a lifetime.

My intimate home studio is in Terranora, on the border of NSW and QLD and this is where I create those beautiful images of newborns, children and families. Every client who I meet for the first time, leaves me with the feeling like we have known each other forever - and so often new friendships are formed. I love taking time to get to know you, your family and your baby so I can truly capture their beauty and soul from within and make your portraits breathtaking.
